Knight Bus Tour In Philadelphia

The 7th and final Harry Potter book is coming soon! Come on board the traveling Harry Potter Knight Bus and make a video about why you love the Harry Potter books! Each pre-registered person will be videotaped talking about why they love the Harry Potter books. Select videos will be chosen to be shown on the Scholastic Harry Potter website. Every person under 18 years old must have a parental release form signed by their parent or legal guardian in order to make a video.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Registration begins on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 and will continue until all slots have been filled. Space is limited, so sign up right away. To pre-register to make a video on the Harry Potter Knight Bus, call the Central Children’s Department at 215.686.5369 or stop by the Central Library.

Other fun Harry Potter activities will be going on as well.

Hey Everybody!

Just to remind you, tonight is the drag show at Woody's,which is at 13th and Walnut. I just got word that I'm going to be going on FIRST, and the show starts promptly at seven, so if you're planning on coming you'll want to get there a little before that.

Cover is $7, $5 if you come in drag. Doors open at 6, so if you want you can show up a little early and get your drink on. I think there's going to be some drink specials or something.

You are AWESOME. I SUCK. I'm sorry I didn't post earlier about receiving the fantastic birthday package! I actually didn't get it until like a week ago, because my post office is stupid and didn't tell me I had a package waiting for me, but really that's no excuse.

So, everyone? My secret pal = GREAT. I got this fantastic package: a box of Pepperidge Farm cookies (can I just say how ridiculously much I love Chessmen?), two skeins of light grey Lamb's Pride, a purple fleecy pillowcase, some size 8 dpns (which are EXACTLY what I needed -- I lost mine and was just thinking I'd need to buy new ones!), and a deck of playing cards.
